A prayer has been done for President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua.
Bishop Mark Kariuki has dedicated the presidency and the instruments of power given over during the swearing in ceremony.
The bishop during the prayer said God had show-cased his might by elevating President Ruto who was a road-side chicken seller before.
He then handed the president a Bible.
The president and his deputy and their spouses knelt on the dais as the prayer was done.
The two couples are prayerful and the president has in the past said he was "prayed into presidency".
The deputy president's wife is an ordained pastor that have retired as a banker.
